Project objectives
Ensure sustainable use of raw materials in the automotive sector, reducing material supply risks.
Adopt the circular economy paradigm in the automotive sector in practice, acting as a demonstrator for the manufacturing sector.
Offer better vehicle-related economic, environmental and social performance to all end-users.
Create new supply chains around End of Life Vehicles (ELVs), focusing on the circular exploitation of the raw materials embedded in cars.
Concrete actions
- Development of an artificial intelligence-based scenario assessment tool to support the development of circular supply chains in the automotive sector.
- Representation of a series of success stories in three key automotive value chains, such as dismantlers/crushers, recyclers and manufacturers, demonstrating the benefits of adopting circularity principles in the automotive sector.
- Integrating Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) for the efficient design of car electronics and subsequent dismantling and material recovery.
- Treasure standard mapping toolkit
- CEN WORKSHOP AGREEMENT: CWA 18119 “A methodology to improve the recyclability rate of Strategic/Critical Metals from car electronics”
- D8.4 Standardization Toolkit
- TREASURE D.8.5_V5
