How it works
Through the Preliminary Public Enquiry (PPI), in total transparency, UNI communicates the general references of the draft standard to stakeholders and makes them available online to give them and the public the opportunity to express interest in participating in the work.
In particular, this information service offers the possibility to submit comments on draft national standards and declare interest in participating in standardisation work on documents currently under enquiry.
On the other hand, the draft adoption of ISO standards and CEN reports (CEN/TR) concern the proposed adoption without amendments of documents already issued by CEN or ISO, on which, therefore, no comments or interest in participating in the work are requested, but rather whether these documents can meet national requirements from a technical point of view.
Note: comments on drafts under enquiry must only be submitted via the online form available on these pages. Comments sent by email are not accepted.
